Jeffrey Wright Will Play The Role Of Batman In The Comedy Audio-based Series

Jeffrey Wright, who is famous for the role of Arnold/Bernard Lowe in the Westworld and who is going to play the role of Commissioner James Gordon in the Matt Reeves directed Batman film, is going to star as Batman in the audio series (which will be funny instead of being dark).

This is not to say that Jeffrey Wright cannot play the role of Batman (he will do a better job than Ben Affleck and George Clooney probably), but the audio series will adopt a playful nature to the character.

In any case, Jeffrey Wright has been signed in to star as Bruce Wayne in the audio show titled “Batman: The Audio Adventures,” which will primarily explore the comedy version of the iconic character of the caped crusader.

... views (the last time I checked). If you have seen it, you would know that Jeffrey Wright is acting alongside Robert Pattinson in the film as Commissioner James Gordon. However, he would have a different run in the comedic audio series “Batman: The Audio Adventures.” Wright will give the voice to The Dark Knight character in the podcast series.

Wright has previously shared bits of the sound of the Batmobile featuring in the upcoming reboot. He had also shared before that he is quite enjoying the production of the series “so far.” However, courtesy of a new report published by the ever-reliable “The Hollywood Reporter,” it has been revealed that Wright will audibly personify the character of Bruce Wayne in the podcast series titled “The Batman: The Audio Adventures.”

Apart from Wright, the podcast series will feature a talented ensemble cast, which includes Alan Tudyk (also seen in Doom Patrol), Rosario Dawson (also seen in Daredevil, Iron Fist, The Mandalorian), Jason Sudeikis, Ray Wise, Paul Scheer, and Fred Armisen. Geoff John is overseeing the development of the audio-based series as an executive producer.

Though it is not confirmed which actor will personify which character (apart from the fact that Jeffrey Wright will play the role of Batman), it will be interesting to see who they select as the nemesis of Batman. Taking into account that it is a comedy series and it will be based on a lot of jokes, you can almost predict who will be the villain.

Robert Pattinson will star as Bruce Wayne in Matt Reeves’ iteration of the Batman titled “The Batman.” Jeffrey Wright will be seen in the film as Commissioner James Gordon. The film will explore the detective capabilities of The Dark Knight, something we haven’t seen in past films. The Batman will mark the first installment in the list of trilogy films.

Zoe Kravitz will personify the role of Selina Kyle, aka Catwoman.

Matt Reeves is helming the project based on a script he had co-penned alongside Mattson Tomlin. Paul Dano will play the role of the primary antagonist named The Riddler. Colin Farrell will be seen as The Penguin, and Andy Serkis as Alfred J Pennyworth.
