A curing compound is a liquid substance that is added to a newly installed concrete as a surface coating. A concrete curing compound is one of the compounds that can help to prevent moisture loss from concrete. Curing compounds are used to reduce water or heat loss to create conditions conducive to the formation of concrete. Curing is required for the hydration of cement when making concrete. Process of Applying Concrete Curing Compound
