Every child is their parent's favorite; however, the child may not be the best, but still, they are the best in the eyes of their loved ones. The scenario has been ruling from the past that the king's child will be the next king. Though he may not be a good leader, since he is the child of the king, it's his birthright to be the owner of the throne, and we know some of them became a better version or say a better leader than their ancestors and the majority made us believe that injustice is present everywhere.
People have an emotional attachment which causes them to take such steps, and maybe your boss or the next CEO be the boss's child or his niece. Still, if some outside guy needs to achieve that position of the CEO, He/She will have to wait for years after giving all their life for the work and still don't receive what they deserve. That is when the favoritism factor takes birth, and a war starts for fair decisions.

Productivity and efficiency goes down
If we carefully look at the scenario, the first generation builds up the business or sets up something in any other sector, and the second generation ...
... takes that work to the next level, and the upcoming third-generation who is spoon-fed declines the productivity and development are done by the second generation. The reason is they got everything on demand; there is no struggle, hardships have done so they don't know the value of its importance whereas an outsider struggles all his life to get to that position, but it is unfortunate that they may or may not receive the deserved response or reward of their hardship.
Due to all these reasons, the company or any work management and productivity decreases, the efficiency also decrease. People and big industrialists also try to use their influence to get their close ones and acquaintances to get the extra edge over others, and we say that we are not able to pay the deserving ones their fruit or reward.
A recent case study according to boarding Schools in India!
After the death of veteran actor Sushant Singh Rajput, the controversy of nepotism has taken to the next level of hype. The news spread like fire in the jungle, and all of a sudden, the boycott of nepo actors has reached the whole next stage. Before the incident also, favoritism existed in the film industry, but now the awareness has reached the next level with the help of social media, and the campaigns run on them.
We all know that there is a need to provide fair chances to outsiders, but the people sitting at the high level are the ones who control the system, and the whole system needs to renew.
We all firstly mourn for the mishappening of any individual who suffered due to favoritism, and the next day we would be hiring the undeserved acquaintance of our family member or close relative. The fact is that people get peer emotional pressure and unwillingly they have to do it to keep the relationship in a better mode. It takes courage to stand apart from the outsider and give them priority over your loved ones.
Social media has been the finest weapon to raise the voice and aware society of injustice, but still, people will take the initiative, participate, and try to influence outsiders. It's not that the no kids don't deserve the appreciation but, in the majority of cases, fair play is not done. Nepotism is available everywhere, and we are the ones who massively conduct it but act as it's only seen in the Film industry, corporate and sports but from shops to malls, work of servants to business empires everywhere nepotism and favoritism are present.
What's the solution?
We need to understand that favoring the relatives, closed ones are rooted and can't be demolished in a day or month. It takes decades and many small fights to achieve the right and the work shouldn't be just the law made, it should be under work from ground level, and proper responsibility should be taken. We might say that everyone is equal, but deep inside, we all know our priorities and limits.
"Ab Raja Ka beta raja Nahi Banega, Raja Vohi Banega Jo Kabil Hoga."
The above point is implemented from ground level, then the above development graph will exponentially increase.
