Bakra Eid And The Many Shenanigans Of It

Bakra Eid is the biggest festivities for Muslims. Muslims Eid starts way before Eid because the excitement of getting Bakra or any Qurbani animal is equal among kids as well as Elders. The spirit of piousness and religion was amazing the more and more days passed the more and more you will see people roaming around the streets with their different kinds of animals. The kids will usually set out on their journey in a group consisting of two to three kids with Bakra bigger than themselves. Whereas the elders set out to buy new Bakra from man or nowadays many people do online Qurbani or buy groceries for the Eid day. After Eid arrives Muslims wake up and get ready for Eid prayer. After the Eid prayer, the imam gives his blessings, and Muslims meet each other and greet them with hugs and love.
Then the Muslims came home where the ladies of their homes met them and greeted them. Kids get excited and elders get tensed for the search for Kasai. The ones who get the early bookings get their animals sacrificed before dhuhr prayer and the ones who get their animal sacrificed on the first ...
... day of Eid before Maghrib prayer in other words before sunset they are the lucky ones. Although in Islam the animal should be sacrificed on three days means Eid day and two days after that. But everyone tries their best to get the animal sacrificed on the first day. There is a reason for that and that is the family who gets their animal sacrificed on the first day they get to eat delicious dishes of meat for three days. The ladies of the house roll up their sleeves because the competition of who cooks the best dish among the family is on. Whereas the kids just enjoy these days because these are the days where no one will stop them. They have freedom, they play all day, they eat, play, and repeat. The biggest happiness of Eid ul Adha is the gettogether and happiness among families. They enjoy delicious food and feel free from the hustle of tensed life they laugh, eat and enjoy. Whereas the Kasai community workday and late nights. Although they earn good money these days they help not just themselves but also us.
Eid is the festival we all wait for but never forget the people who are there to help and service us. Like Kasai’s guards and garbage disposal workers. These people deserve our attention because they leave their homes and loved ones behind and spend Eid while working for us. Some people have the perspective that they do it for money. Of Course, they do it for money but just for the thought that all the Kasai want to make holiday then who will qurban our animals. If the guards or police officers go to make the holiday on Eid with their families then who will protect us. And if just think the garbage disposal workers are absent on these days then who will dispose of the garbage of animals. So taking care of each other is the main learning of Eidul Adha and the many shenanigans of it.
