The Food Safety and Standards Authority of India’s (FSSAI) commence to limit the trans-fat in food parts that use edible oil as an ingredient to 2% is consumer-friendly and will not put the load on the industry as most companies are already launching on reducing trans-fat in their products. Moreover, the Food Safety and Standards has declared on Prohibition and Restrictions on Sales of Second Amendment Regulations, 2021, has been mentioned earlier last month.
