Solving Support Code 0x8503001f Error In Outlook
Using Windows mobile device with MS Outlook, sometimes land you up in error zone due to synchronization issues. But not to worry, advancement in technology has answers to everything, every error. Microsoft solves this data synchronization issue of Outlook and Windows mobile device with its exclusive program known as ‘ActiveSync'.
For this application ActiveSync to run smoothly you need to have clean or non-damaged Outlook PST file. The application needs to interact directly with Outlook PST, therefore an error free PST is a prime requirement to synchronize its data. If PST file is corrupt or damaged, then Outlook deliver errors and refuses to carry out data synchronization. Corrupted partnership of computer
ActiveSync installation issues
Outlook PST is infected with corruption errors
Solution for this
Just follow the solutions given below in order to solve the depicted synchronization error.
1.Recreate the existing partnership. To do so, follow these steps:
Disconnect the Windows device from the computer.
Go to ActiveSync.
Click File Delete Partnership.
Reconnect the device and follow as prompted, to create a new partnership.
2.Reinstall ActiveSync if the above method doesn't work.
3.Run ‘Inbox Repair Tool' to fix inconsistency issues with Outlook PST as follows:
Close Outlook.
Click ‘Start' and select ‘Find' or ‘Search'.
Type ‘Scanpst.exe' in the name box for finding files and folders.
Double-click the file to launch ‘Inbox Repair Tool'.
Specify the PST file name and path.
Click ‘Start'.
Inbox Repair tool most of the times fail to fix corruption in Outlook PST file and once it does it gives a success message regarding completion of repair process. If it cannot perform repair, you can use the latest backup copy if available. Otherwise you are left with no choice other than using Outlook Recovery tool to repair and recover corrupt, damaged, inaccessible Outlook PST file. Outlook Recovery software extensively scans the .PST file for data and then lists the number of items recovered from the corrupt file.
