There are a billion of hours of videos are being watched and as per the studies it shows that over 8 billion videos are being watched every 24 hours on Facebook. With this study you can have an idea of what is the actual number of reaches for each platform individually that includes YouTube which is world’s second largest search engine after Google.

Today, we will cover what should be the exact length of the video should be on different social media channel. Before we start discussing about the video length on different social media platforms, we should make you aware of the short attention time in people so that is why the video should not be longer that 2 minutes.

News feeds should be up to 1 minute and in this 1 minute the first 3 seconds are very important as people keep scrolling the feeds so in 1-2 seconds you have to catch the user and force them to watch the complete video which increases the chances of conversion.
3- YouTubeYouTube has a different audience as compared to Facebook, Instagram or any other social media platform. YouTube is basically a platform where users are coming just to watch videos and they are aware that they might get to see a long video on YouTube as compared to other platforms so the length is not a big issue on YouTube but still there are some tricks that you have to catch.
YouTube counts the view after 30 seconds, so that content of your video for initial 30 seconds should be good enough that it retains the user and if user watches the complete video then it’s a win for you.
