Cleanse With Shampoo And Conditioner

Use shampoo and conditioner according to the length of your hair. Do not overuse any hair product as they leave hair dry and brittle. Once or twice a week is more than enough. Apply conditioner to the end of the strands and not the roots.

Trim Hair
Hair trimming helps with hair growth. While it might sound contradictory, this is required. Regular trimming helps remove split ends and damaged hair thus ensuring proper growth. Trimming hair also gives a good shape to your hair.

Maintain a good diet
The right amount of Vitamins, protein, and iron aids hair growth. The hair cells need all these nutrients for proper growth. Include iron-rich food in your diets such as fish, beans, soybeans, and vegetables. An additional requirement is protein-rich sources, such as milk, peas, and lentils.

Water is the key to hydration. Drinking water helps skin and hair cells hydrated, which in turn gives positive results.

Be gentle
Using a brush with wide bristles to comb your hair daily massages your scalp. This ensures hair growth. Wet hair strands are weak and hence should be combed gently. Don’t be harsh with your hair. Don’t pull them too hard as it results in breakage. Brush your hair daily, preferably twice a day, and do the brushing from the bottom up.

Apply Hair Oils
This is a very traditional yet common way of ensuring hair care. Try applying a little coconut, almond, or olive oil to your scalp and strands regularly. Oil helps hair retain moisture and reduces breakage.
