When we talk about a gaming headphone that is fit for studio use many people think that most of it are a joke. We know that a PC suitable for gaming is also great for studio setups, the same is not true for headphones. Anyone in the studio is not a fan of flashy looks and thus gaming headphones, though good in performance might look a bit much when it comes to use in the studio. Also, people in-studio setups rarely need a microphone, all they need is a headphone with professional sound quality that allows them to judge the level of decibels required and other effects.

Creating professional sound is equally important as creating a professional video. The impact will only be felt when the audio is suitable and matches the artistic style of the video. Let us take a look at Hyper X Cloud2. These headphones claim to be well versed in the studio setup and have proved to be exceptional in both these departments. These are low-cost hyperx cloud headphones that you can easily avail of in the market for an affordable price.

Headphone amp

These headphones shave 60 Ohm of impedance ...
... which will deliver great sound. There is a USB dongle that can be used for many purposes apart from the controls of the headphones.

Build Quality

For the price which these headphones are offered, you need not consider the build quality. Still, these headphones are sturdy and will support you for long use. The earcups of memory foam reconnected to the aluminum yoke for support. There is an extra set of earpads provided to add or change them whenever you feel the need. The wire is soldered to the earcup and can’t be removed. Removing it will need you to dismantle the whole headphone.

Sound

Their frequency response may not look impressive but it is the best you can get at the given price. The high frequency works well with the headphones, the low frequency may create a bit problem which you will only be able to notice if you have heard the same sound in a better headphone previously.

Comfort

The comfort is great and you can use them for long hours without any worry. There aren’t any pressure points where you might feel pain after a few hours. Generally, the quality is on par with closed-back headphones and will satisfy your needs comfortably.
