1. Lines
The first and most basic element of the design is that the line, which is the initial point ...
... for many designers gazing a blank canvas. Lines, in graphic design, are often used for a large range of purposes: connecting content, stressing a word or phrase, forming patterns, etc. The lines are often long, red, straight, thin, and blue, dashed, short, black, or curved, they're all into the identical category.
Lines are quite more than just dividers — the proper lines can convey movement and emotion, tying together your composition and making it looked polished and professional. Laser-cut design files are essentially line drawings provided to the laser cutter, which translates these lines into a physical product.
2. Shape

The shape is that the quality of a definite objects or body in having an external surface or outline of a particular forms or figure. For the designer, shapes are at the foundation of graphic design. Mainly figures and shapes help to makeup logos, illustrations, and countless other elements altogether forms of designs. Shapes may be described in three ways:
• Mechanical shapes are those with hard edges and are usually geometric.
• Organic shapes are irregular and sometimes feature curves or unexpected angles.
• Abstract shapes are things like letters, icons, or symbols and may help convey a message.
Use these shapes carefully to generate a visually pleasing design and crowd pleasing design.
3. Color
Color is the best element which provides powerful visual impact at one glance. Color may stand alone as a background or may be applied to other elements, like lines, shapes, textures or typography. Color creates different mood within the piece and tells a story about the brand.
Mainly color wheel consists of three primary colors red, yellow, and blue which can be further mixed in varying ratios to create secondary and intermediate colors.
Every color says something different, and conveys different emotions and combinations can alter that impression further. Using color to tap into these emotions can make designs more successful at achieving the specified response. The color wheel could be a great tool for a graphic designing artist and you may use it repeatedly to form an excellent piece of artwork.
4. Space
Space is that the area round the elements in a design, which is employed to separate or group information. Negative space is one among the commonly underutilized and misunderstood aspects of designing for the page. Use negative space to form shapes as you'd the other element. Use it effectively to present the attention, define importance and lead the attention to where you would like it to travel. Space is often used to both separate and connect elements in a design. Wider spaces separate elements from one another and narrower spaces connect elements to reveal relationships between them. Overlapping elements maximizes their relationship.

5. Value
How light or dark a section looks in a design is termed as Value. It's everything from the blackest of blacks through to the lightest of whites. This element is very important for designers for not only in simple colors but also because values define forms and creates illusions. Lighter designs offer a distinct impact and feeling than dark ones and you would need an expert eye to note differences and judge which one is that the best.
6. Texture
Texture relates to the surface of an object, where it creates an illusion of a surface that's not flat or smooth. Textures can look almost like solid background colors, but if they're analyzed closer, small but effective differences will be noticed.
