6. Texture
Texture relates to the surface of an object, where it creates an illusion of a surface that's not flat or smooth. Textures can look almost like solid background colors, but if they're analyzed closer, small but effective differences will be noticed. By using texture, we are able to add depth and visual interest to graphic design. Textures can create a more three-dimensional appearance on this two-dimensional surface.
