• Having a light dinner is important for weight loss as the digestive system needs to get rest at night to perform well. Avoid ghee and apply less oil in the veggies. Brown rice, salad, curd, homemade dal , roti, green veggies or vegetables soup can help you reduce weight loss.
• Water should be the main beverage and drinks with high sugar content, such as soft drinks and fruit juices, should be limited or avoided.
• Some commonly used legumes such as Moong Beans, Kidney Beans, Chickpeas, Pulses or black-eyed peas are the ones which can be included in your weight loss diet plan as legumes place a vital role in creating a diet chart.
• Apples, papaya, oranges, mango, guavas, tamarind and lychee are some of the fruits which needs to be added to your diet plan. One can have this fruits while having their morning breakfast or also in the evening as evening booster.
• Dry fruits consisting of peanuts, cashews, pumpkin seeds, almonds and watermelon seeds can also act as a best option for weight loss as it are rich in protein.
• Sweet potatoes, potatoes, carrots, yams and turnips also needs to be included in your diet plan under the roots category.
• Don’t forget the herbs and spices to complete your Indian healthy diet chart! Here, you need to include ginger, garlic, cardamom, coriander, cumin, paprika, garam masala, fenugreek, black pepper, turmeric, ghee or clarified butter and sesame seeds.
• Legumes, paneer, tofu can be added to the diet plan as your protein sources too.
