When we talk about the music era then without any second though the era of the 90s comes to our minds as it was the best decade for the music and the genres were diverse. Be it pop, blues, jazz or anything else it was the time when the maximum number of audio formats were introduced and people went after them madly. It is no doubt that still the nineties is considered as the era of the music in the world of entertainment and that is why during many of the audio format the Mini Disc was also introduced which was called as the .mp3 audio file and it was released by the World class company Philips which is a pioneer in music and its audio version was introduced in the year 1992 which was called as the high quality Digital Compact Cassette, but it later flopped because of the price and other reasons which actually could not survive the competition. Nowadays people transfer video tapes to DVD but in that times there were no such options as people have to buy another cassette if the first one was ruined. The companies wanted the customers attention because they presented a better version of cassette in front of them and they indeed made it, and it was far better from the standard cassettes as it was not alike the wear and tear format of the cassettes, and that is why the companies were confident about the quality issues that could fight with the cassettes and hoped that people will turn up for this kind of digital compact discs. That time people never of the task of transfer video tapes to DVD and the issue with the digital cassette tape compared to the standard cassette, but the new one which was the digital audio needs a lot more tape. This meant that the digital disc not at all like a CD or a DVD, but the digital audio on the DCC had to be compressed. And most importantly the quality of these discs were questioned because it thought to be harming the quality of the music and at that time there were no such players to play them other than a PC.
