Water is the most important factor that is required by a living creature to survive. When two molecules of hydrogen and one molecule of oxygen mix, it forms water. Just like the Earth consists of appx seventy per cent of water, our body also is made up of sixty per cent of water.
Water makes up the majority of our body weight. A good amount of water is required to perform our daily activities, both inside and outside of our bodies. We cannot survive without drinking water because, after a period, our body will get dehydrated and will stop working.
We intake water from drinking water directly, beverages, but food also contributes a small amount to daily water intake. The main functions of water in our body include maintaining the body temperature and to help the brain to work. Water acts as a protective barrier to prevent the loss of excess fluid from our bodies. Our skin contains mostly water particles, and it helps to keep our skin hydrated and plumped up. Therefore, drinking plenty of water helps us to form new skin tissues, moisturizes, and also maintains the elasticity of our skin.

Prevents overall dehydration – Dehydration is very dangerous for our body and is caused due to lack of water in our body. But, the required amount of water helps to prevent some severe complications, including swell in our brain, kidney failure, and seizures.
We live very busy lives, and as a result, we fail to consume the required amount of water. Due to this, we often suffer from various issues like little or no urine, fatigue, a problem in sleeping, headache, confusion, dizziness, lightheadedness, and many others.
So, here are some tips that can help you to stay hydrated:
Keep a bottle of water with you while going to any place.
If you are having trouble drinking plain water, you can add a slice of lemon or a pinch of salt to it.
Always remember to drink at least one glass of water after reaching a destination.
You can set reminders in your clock, phone, or smartwatches to remind you to drink water between short intervals.
Always remember to drink an adequate amount of water before, after, and during your workouts.
If you are hungry, drink water as much as you can if you feel hungry and cannot eat something then.
