As compared to any other form of plastic, the thermoplastic material is known for its insulating features. This is why the material is an ideal choice for use in electrical appliances and other insulating areas. It will not easily allow the electricity and heat to easily pass through it.

Thermoplastic material is highly elastic. It can withstand any level of impact. On a deep impact, the material will not easily break into fragments. Thus it is widely used within practice ammunition manufacturing units.

The same material is a better choice as compared to lead. It is one of the most important raw materials used for manufacturing frangible ammunition.

Chemical resistant

Normally glass is one of the materials that do not react with chemical substances. But it certainly may not be possible to use glass everywhere. Thus thermoplastic has replaced glass here.

It does not easily react with most chemical substances. Being chemical resistant it is widely used in the medical field and storing industry.

When speaking of thermoplastic composite material it can withstand extreme heat. At the same time, it requires only less heat to mold into any shape. This is one unique property that is not salient to any other metal or plastic.

Due to this property, it is widely used in automobile industries and manufacturing industries. Thermoplastic is the only raw material that is extremely light in weight, but resistant to heat.

As compared to any other material, thermoplastic is more versatile. It is also one of the main components used in the packing industry. Its high durability and shock absorbing power make it an ideal choice for use in the automobile sector as well.
