The major mentality that makes students think IGCSE English essay is so hard is that we mostly concentrate on those external recompenses such as passing with flying colors or our teacher’s approval. Here are a few tips brought to you by My Quality Tutor on how to ace IGCSE English Essay in Malaysian schools.

1. Choose a topic.
If the title has already been provided, you must consider the type of essay that you want to design. In short, converge your focus if needed. First, set your goal. Once you have decided on the overall plan, you will need to do some analysis on topics that you find interesting. Next, assess your choices. If you intend to inform or educate the audience, choose a topic that you are passionate about. Whatever the purpose of the essay, make sure that you are engrossed in it.
2. Plan a framework of your concepts.
In order to write a successful IGCSE English essay, you must arrange your ideas. By perceiving what’s already in your head and putting it in writing, you can view associations between concepts more precisely. This method works ...
... as a base for your IGCSE essay. Meantime, utilize a framework or a diagram to jot down your thoughts and create them. From there, start to arrange your chief ideas, leaving space beneath each one. Executing this will enable you to recognize connections and will aid you to compose a more organized essay.
3. Compose the body.
The body of your essay clarifies and describes your entire topic. Each concept that you wrote in your outline will display a different segment within the body of your essay. Otherwise, every paragraph will have a similar basic composition. Start by writing one of your main points as an opening sentence. Then, write each of your additional ideas in sentence format, leaving three or four lines in between each point to return and give explicit examples to back up your judgment.
5. Draft the introduction.
Since you have expanded the overall body of your essay, you should compose an introduction now. Introductions are usually the most thrilling part to craft as you’re attempting to summarize your entire essay before you’ve even written it yet. The introduction should draw the reader’s attention and discuss the centre of your essay. Perhaps, work with an attention grabber. You can apply shocking information, questions, statistics, or even a quote. Whichever aspect you prefer, make sure that it matches in with your statement, which will be inserted as the last order of your introduction.
6. Write the conclusion.
Lastly, the conclusion leads to finishing the essay and sums up your overall ideas while rendering a final outlook on your topic. Generally, a conclusion should cover three to five strong sentences. All you can do is simply interpret your principal points and strengthen the entire essay once again.
7. Add the finishing touches.
After completing your conclusion, you might think that you have concluded your essay. But before that, review the layout of your paragraphs. Your strongest points should be the opening and closing paragraphs within the body, with the others befalling in the middle. Make sure that the sentence course is smooth and attach phrases to help correlate thoughts or views. Last but not least, recheck your essay for grammar and spelling errors.

Remember that an excellent IGCSE English essay does not happen by accident. Although My Quality Tutor has attempted to describe everything that goes into effective essay writing in as precise and concise a way as possible, it is much simpler in speculation than it is in practice.
