We are going to discuss some key features of ITIL Certification[https://www.sprintzeal.com/course/itil-v4-foundation-certification-training], which provides a documented history of when the project scope statement was originally approved, and by whom, as well as a list of any subsequent, not agreed to changes by the change control board. In this manner, the project scope statement is a living document, as are all other project planning documents. All project documents must record the changes to the project and keep an accurate record of what is being produced. A version control section is important to include with all of the project deliverables. The WBS is a key tool that project managers can use to define and manage scope.

It is a tool that allows the project to be broken down into manageable work packages. All projects will be composed of numerous subcomponents of work, each designed to support the objectives and requirements for the project. Each subcomponent may include many deliverables, and these many are divided further into work packages. A work package is made up of a set of activities or tasks that must be ...
... performed to create its associated deliverable. Work packages consume time and resources. The WBS provides the means to document this breakdown of work, from the highest level, the project, to the lowest level of work, and thus, the WBS has a hierarchical structure. A WBS should be broken down to a level of detail that includes all the work required and ONLY the work required to deliver the scope of the project. The individual work packages should be identifiable, but they should not be trivial.

There should be a deliverable associated with each work package, and someone should be responsible for its quality, schedule, and budget. Essentially, you are determining all of the work and deliverables that must be completed in the project. To do this, you develop a hierarchy from the top down, starting with the project, the deliverables, and then the associated work packages. This can be done via a tree diagram or via an outline-type approach.

A typical WBS in a tree diagram can look like this, where the project is listed at the top, then each deliverable branches off of the project, then each work package branches off of the deliverables. In an outline approach, the WBS may look like this, where the project title is item 1, the first key deliverable or phase is item 1.1, indented, under the project title, and the work packages for that key deliverable are 1.1.1 and 1.1.2, indented, under the item 1.1. The second key deliverable or phase would then be item 1.2, and the associated work package would be 1.2.1. The WBS must include all the work required to deliver the project. Depending on the size and complexity of the project, you could have more or fewer levels than shown in our examples and more or less work packages and deliverables.

Small scale industries are a major factor why large-scale businesses thrive as they are very much inter-connected on the surface. This leads to a mutual sharing of different ideas, technologies, guidelines, frameworks, etc. There is an increase in the number of frameworks that are serving both large and small businesses. Nowadays, scalability is being given more importance rather than devising frameworks and policies according to the size of the business. It has become extremely important to the designers of these frameworks to consider the scalability factor as it helps to determine a successful framework.

A small-scale business requires face to face communication with its clients, so the employees or the leadership team itself should be present whenever there arises a problem. It is a benchmark for companies of both small and large scale. If they deal with the customers properly, then they might be benefited from higher returns and mutual trust. It sets up an environment of healthy marketing, and this leads to the proper conduct of business and trade.

These techniques can help an ITIL[https://www.myitstudy.com/ITIL/methodology/aboutonlineFoundation.asp] certified individual to master the ITSM language as it helps them to understand the important methodologies and core techniques of ITSM.
