In a recent interview, Scott Snyder revealed that DC offered him the job to expand the story of the upcoming Zack Snyder’s version of the Justice League, commonly known as the “Snyder Cut” in a comic book issue.

Zack Snyder’s Justice League has been planned to be released on September 5th, 2021, on HBO Max.

In the early part of this year, Zack Snyder had shared the news with his fans that their relentless demand for “Snyder Cut” has been met. He will re-edit the film after re-shooting the parts of it. The story of the failed 2017 film Justice League will be retold on HBO Max in the form of a miniseries.

DCEU has been on the right track ever since the release of the 2018 film “Aquaman.” Now, DC fans want Zack Snyder’s “Justice League” to fix everything that has been broken.

The re-iteration has been budgeted around $70 million, and it will feature some of the cast members that did not officially appear in the 2017 Joss Whedon film. This time characters like Jared Leto’s Joker, Zheng Kai’s Atom, and Darkseid (played by Ray Porter) will have an appearance in the miniseries.

Scott Snyder gave an interview to CCXP Worlds to promote his latest run on American Vampire 1976. In the interview, Snyder revealed that he got a call from DC asking him to help the studio make the story of Zack Snyder’s film much more expansive, which will help not only DC comics but also DC Extended Universe, which is looking to rebuild its world after the debacle of the 2017 film.

However, there is bad news for you. Scott Snyder declined the job because he does not want to be associated with a “confused” plan anymore.

Nevertheless, please do not think that this will make the studio re-consider their plan because there are other comic writers who would whole-heartedly accept the job.

Whether Scott Snyder would regret this decision or not is a matter that only time can resolve. However, what we can be assured of is the fact that DC is leaving no stone unturned in rebuilding their franchise, which, to be honest, has gained some momentum after the release of the films like “Aquaman” and “Shazam.”

Now, Wonder Woman 1984 would be willing to add to that momentum. The movie is gearing up for a release on Christmas Day on HBO Max and in theaters. The early reviews are out, and they have been largely positive.
