Make Your House Sound Proof

Sounds are nothing uncommon in a homely ambiance. The music system may be blasting from another room or the television may be in the living room. Your dog may be barking at something or your housemaid maybe cleaning the utensils. Therefore, if your home is not designed in a proper way, all these sounds may create noise which may be annoying to the ears.
Empty areas bounce sound. If your home has high ceilings, many glass windows, ceramic tiled floors with less upholstery, the entire house will start reverberating with sounds. Even a low voiced telephone conversation will reverberate to the person on the other end.
Bouncing pitch
Sounds also require a space of their own. If they don’t get a place to rest, they will bounce back with more noise. Sounds bask tender absorbent places. Hard surfaces bounce back sound waves while tender surfaces absorb the decibel level. Sound conveniently echoes off glass surfaces. If you have glass windows, cover them up with heavy noise cancelling curtains or even tender, light ones with pelmets to dampen the sound. Pictures or paintings with glass may add to echo sound ...
... also. Look for paintings without any glass sheets.
Cancelling the carpet
Wood and carpets assist to absorb sound. There may be a huge carpet in the living room and cushions of dense fabric on the sofa. Large urns or potted plants can be placed in the room corners of the sound proof booth. If you have a bookcase, you may keep small tree or statues on the shelves. If you have enough space, you may add shelves on the walls and fill them with books, artefacts and plants from wood instead of those that are made of metal, ceramic, or glass.
Necessities of the kitchen
In the kitchen, throw a couple of washable floor carpets on the floor. Get herbs or potted plants on the counter and in case you have a bookshelf, but the plants and the cookbooks on the shelves. If your kitchen cupboards are manufactured of wood, they will assist to absorb sound easily, however, if there is a mica surface, even the sound from your mixer mat sound irritating for your ears. Put anything porous, like lamps or stone tables, to absorb the sounds just like the acoustic ceiling panels.
Double glazing is quite efficient just like sound dampening foam, as a couple of layers of glass which thereby is sealed to the frame are more effective than a single pane of glass. This might be further enhanced by installing another glass pane or window within the windows opening next to the double glazed unit, and this is also called secondary glazing and not to be baffled with double glazing. The secondary pane of the glass window will generally open by a sliding mechanism.
