Have you asked yourself: how sharp is my awareness or consciousness? Perhaps you have, but you may not have known the indicators or clues that would provide you the answer to the question. So here are indicators to help you assess yourself in terms of sharpening your awareness or consciousness.

You have a perspective of your interior, your soul, your mind and your will, in quite an open and fresh point of view. Your interior self is a universe within, so to speak. You can see yourself as a being, a person who has much in himself or herself that is still yet to be explored and developed.
You have a perspective of the universe around you in a very fresh and open point of view. You see the world as language of the Creator, in which you are made to understand your purpose or destiny.
You are aware that the universe can cause certain effects on your consciousness ...
... or awareness. You know that the external environment has impact on your senses, and your internal mind. You perceive that changing your immediate environment can either be beneficial or harmful to you.
You are looking for practical ways in order your awareness or consciousness will be sharpened even more. Find for more ways in order to practice your five senses and you mind (and your interior senses, so to speak).

The chances, choices and opportunities given in the now should be given due thought and consideration. In a certain sense, the present comes only once—so take your chance to truly live in the present.
Very little or nothing of your time is devoted to worrying, thinking or dwelling on your past. The past has already passed—yes, it is important to learn from it, but we must not live in it.
Very little or nothing of your time is devoted to worrying, thinking, dwelling or anticipating the possible future you will experience later.
