The task of a DMRC Train Operator is to ensure even domineering, proficiently driving and managing the train in agreement with the Train Control System. He/she is also in charge of taking care of other facets too some of them are:

a.Troubleshooting in the train when required
b.Manual Operations (degraded mode) of the train in case of any failure
c.The job of Station Controller/Train Operator is inter-changeable in nature as per the requirement of the Corporation. This includes
d.Operating Trains, and,
e.Managing Affairs of Metro Stations, Depot Control Centers, Operation Control Centers etc.

Under this job profile, the candidates will be given fixed work in shifts which can include night shift. This job needs the highest standard of medical fitness with eye vision of 6/6.

DMRC SC/ TO Job Profile Salary

The basic pay scale for DMRC SC/ TO given to the candidates is from Rs. 10170 to Rs. 18500 per month. This is the minimum salary of SC/TO posts, you may be capable of receiving more through incentives that may range from Rs. 1000-8000 per month.

The net salary will depend on the E.P.F. deduction, pension fund etc and taxes in the current financial year. DMRC SC/TO are entitled for concessional home loan. Besides this they are entitled to 30% HRA, 35% perks and DA as applicable. Therefore, the salary package becomes very attractive.
