Easy & Quick Solutions To Fix The Latest Wordpress Broken Website
WordPress, like other software, can break, causing blog owners quite a bit of anxiety. This can be caused by plugins not working correctly, file corruption, database issues, or several other things. Even though your data is usually sufficient, having your blog down is not what a blog owner wants.
Here are five things you can do to fix a broken WordPress installation:
Make sure you back up your blog before you try to fix the problem! The following fixes should not cause any problems, but it's always better to have a backup that you don't need than to not have a backup when you need it. You can also get the best WordPress themes development service in order to ensure that you get the best themes as per your specific requirements.
Items to back up
Your /wp-content/ folder
Your blog's database.
You can easily back up your database using the wp-backup plugin.
1. Disable the plugin.
Plugins add a plethora of functionality to your blog, but they can cause unexpected problems, such as a blank ...
... admin screen, slow page loading, or PHP error messages on published pages.
In order to disable a plugin, select all plugins in the administrator's plugins screen and then disable them. Once disabled, make sure the problem is gone. Then, enable the plugins one by one until you find the one that is causing the pain.
If, for any reason, you cannot access the plugin page, FTP it to your blog, and rename the plugin folder. The next time you try to load the plugins page in WordPress, you won't find the plugins folder, and all the plugins will be deactivated. If you rename the folder back, all the plugins will come back, but they will remain deactivated. Then activate the plugins one at a time until you find the one causing the problem.
Once the plugin with the problem is in place, you can choose to remove it or check the plugin's home page for updates. (Get Help for Plugin Installation)
2. Check the config file
If your blog doesn't load at all and you get an error message saying "Can't connect to the database,” connect to your site via FTP and check your wp-config.php file to ensure your username, password, and database name are correct. If it's right, but you still have issues, contact your hosting provider to see if there are any database-related changes or problems.
3. Reinstall WordPress.
Most WordPress files can be reinstalled without causing any problems for your blog. The only directory you shouldn't touch is /wp-content/.
You can reinstall WordPress files by logging in to WordPress and going to Tools > Upgrade and selecting "Reinstall"; WordPress will reinstall all the core files using the built-in updater, but you can also reinstall themes, and We don't touch any plugin files.
If you cannot reinstall WordPress using the built-in WordPress tools, you can upload your files via FTP. You need to be pretty careful not to overwrite the given /wp-content/ folder, as it contains the uploads, themes, as well as plugins folder. The best solution is to delete the old files first and then upload the new ones. (Move a Website to WordPress)
4. Repair the Database Tables
If the problem doesn't appear to be in the plugin or WordPress core files, you can always repair your database tables via phpMyAdmin.
Log in to your blog's database via phpMyAdmin, check all your database tables and choose to repair them. You can also choose to optimize.
To get access to phpMyAdmin for your blog, contact your hosting provider.
5. Is there any other problem?
If your blog’s problem still exists, it's time to head over to the WordPress development services and ask for help or search for error messages and issues to see if anyone else is having problems. You may not be the only one, or you may be waiting for a solution to be found.
In my experience with WordPress, I've had very few significant problems. There have been times when plugins have gone haywire, and comments have disappeared, but posts and comments have returned to normal with no loss after some maintenance.
