If you’re one of those people looking forward to completely seeking control over the Finder app, here are a few tools that are unknown to most people. These tools include Stacks, Gallery View, and much more. So, what are you waiting for? Read along to know more!

Select the ‘Group Stacks By’ option from the pop-up menu.
Select any of the following options: Kind, Date Last Opened, Date Added, Date Modified, Date Created, or Tags.
Once ...

Select the ‘View’ format you want to use.
Locate and select the file you want to use to view the information.
Select the ‘View’ tab in the menu bar and click on the ‘Show Preview’ option from the drop-down menu.
To view additional metadata, click on the ‘Show More’ option in the Preview pane.
Using Quick Look Tools in Finder

macOS Mojave introduced new Quick Look updates claimed to be very powerful compared to previous versions. The steps to use the Quick Look tools in Finder are:

Open a New Finder Window on your Mac.
Select the ‘View’ format you want to use.
Select the file you want to use with Quick Look.
Bring up the Quick Look window by pressing the space bar on your keyboard.
