Mahaldiram is an offbeat tourist destination located in the hilly terrains of the Darjeeling Hills. The road to Mahaldiram is full of dense vegetations on all both the sides of the road. The road unwinds through the majestic pine trees and tea gardens all around.

The main attraction of Mahaldiram is its untouched pristine beauty. The locals here are mainly work in the tea plantations and associated with cultivation. Mahaldiram mainly grows ginger, big cardamom, and cinchona. Also there are some the orange orchards.

Our Tea Garden Retreat is considered as the best of Mahaldiram Homestay and offers unique ambience of a theme hotel. How to reach: The nearest railway station is New Jalpaiguri. The nearest airport is Bagdogra. From Siliguri or NJP railway station at a distance of about 70 km is Mahaldiram. From Kurseong at a distance of about 22 km.

Activity Around Mahaldiram: They may also take a hike by foot in the surrounding area to the forest or nearby viewpoints to enjoy nature in all her unchecked glory.

Bird-watching and Wildlife : The surrounding forest around the Resort is filled with a number of exotic bird species which includes various thrushes, pied hornbills, sunbirds, robins, shrikes, pheasants, babblers etc. Sometimes spotted deer, monkeys, barking deer, leopards, porcupines etc. wonders out of nearby Mahanada Wildlife Sanctuary.
