In the last few decades, China has undergone significant development, extraordinary industrialization and urbanization, and a massive transformation of the rural landscape. Unfortunately, this profound growth leads to a widening urban-rural income gap, widespread pollution, health problems, a rise in distributional conflict over resources, environmental degradation, bad loans, and financial bubbles. Furthermore, in recent times, domestic growth in China has slowed down. So, in this context, many wonders whether the development has reached a critical point in terms of socioeconomic, environmental, cultural, and political terms. For instance, the market (commodities, labor, finance and credit, ownership, and property rights), the state ( fiscal policy, governance, civil society, democratization), society (social inclusion/exclusion, inequality, poverty), and culture (changing social practices, norms, and values, shifting identities, power and discourse, consumerism). Additionally, other aspects need to be discussed at the China business events in London. Such as technology (emerging agricultural forms like hi-tech farming, agribusinesses, agroindustry, skills development, innovation, extension, investment, scale, and commercial integration), climate and environment change (farming practices, impact on natural resources and environmental degradation, green products and organic agriculture, a diversified management and ecologically sustainable farming).
