Location can be a huge factor when determining whether Medicare Supplement Plans or Medicare Advantage Plans are a better option for you. People who live in large metropolitan areas such as Los Angeles often have access to cheaper plans that offer better benefits than people who live in rural areas across the nation. Folks in rural areas will find Medicare Supplemental Insurance is a more cost effective option, and they will have access to much better Medical care.

Medicare Advantage Plans are okay for people who live in a major city, or are in extremely good health and on a budget. However, Medicare Supplement Plans are a much better option for the majority of seniors.
