HOUSTON – Since its inception in 2001, Ori’Zaba’s has been serving scratch Mexican food made daily with the freshest ingredients to diners at multiple locations around the Las Vegas area. Now, the chain is expanding out of state for the first time with the opening of a franchise location in Houston.

The new site, slated to open in mid-2021 in the Houston market, will be owned and operated by seasoned franchisee Serge Ukawilu. Ukawilu was born and raised in Gabon, Africa and moved to the US over 20 years ago. He now lives with his family in Houston, where he owns multiple hospice and personal care businesses. Previously, he owned and operated a successful sports bar in downtown Dallas.
