Omega 3 is a group of fatty acids that can be helpful for some people. Just like taking vitamins can be necessary for those who are not getting enough nutrients, Omega 3 can be important for people who are missing certain acids from their diet. Omega 3 is not for everyone, however, because some people are already getting the nutrients that they need. Omega 3 should, for the most part, only be utilized by those who are at risk of not having the proper bodily minerals.

For African Americans and those who are not getting their proper amount of omega 3, the supplements are very beneficial. For anyone who is unsure about whether or not they can use omega 3 tablets, doctors should be contacted. In many cases, however, omega 3 is a helpful supplement for people to take.
