The study of ergonomics is a very important but often taken for granted field of science. Its goals are to satisfy conditions in the workplace that simultaneously promote office productivity while making sure that the worker is immersed in an environment that does not pose as a risk to his or her health and physical well-being.

Many product design changes nowadays tend to favor ergonomics, as in the case of ergonomic computer products and accessories. Many business owners and industry leaders have begun placing more importance to ergonomics today than their predecessors did in the past. This has accounted for the reduction in injuries sustained within the office or workplace.
