The Role Of Marketing!

Big companies manufacture multiple products and these products are marketed by the marketing department. The sole responsibility of this department is to set strategies for marketing and carry out campaigns. They also approach dealers and give ads in newspapers and in visual media. Earlier this was the only marketing that was done but now newer forms have come up.

The profits of the company directly depend on marketing and without marketing, companies cannot become profitable.
There are hundreds of companies making a same product with slight variations. To make people aware of the product, marketing campaigns are very essential. Students who have completed their under graduation can take up this course and they should have secured a minimum of 50% in the qualifying course. These competitive entrance exams are not easy to clear and getting admission after clearing the entrance is indeed a matter of pride for the students. Lakhs of students compete for hundreds of seats.

It is an industry appropriate course designed meeting the requirements of the industry. Students enrolling for the course learn about all forms of marketing through the course. Students who have a flair for sales will find the course interesting. Practical sessions are held and in some institutes the students are made to sell some products at malls. This introduces them directly to sales.

The students learn about social media advertising through lab sessions. The students are made to work on website development, SEO and SEM exercises and they also work on E mail marketing. The students learn about various aspects and its significance. Skill sets are very important for management professionals and these are developed with the course. Their communication, leadership and analytical skills are developed. With deeper understanding of the subjects and skills the transition from campus to corporate is smooth and students are already acclimatized to the corporate environment through industrial visits and internships.
