Nowadays, cellphones are not a luxury, but one of ordinary things, which almost everyone has and uses daily. Industry of cellphones repeats the story of tobacco: both are prevalent in society, adopted, they become a habit, and both producers reject danger during the initial period. The difference is that today people do know that smoking is a health hazard, the fact was proved, but there are still disputes in society and the scientific community regarding cellphones. Data from many studies on the effect of cellphones on the human body are often contradictory. Manufacturers and network operators claim that their products help people disengage from a variety of concerns and instead buy free time. Scientists say that this “free time” gets people too high price. However, there are undeniable harmful effects of cellphones on human health.
First, a cellphone decreases immunity. The results of scientists’ research give reasons to believe that exposure to EMF violates immunogenesis processes, more often in the direction of their oppression. It was also found that animals’ infection processes change their nature under the ...
... action of EMF; videlicet, they are exacerbated. The emergence of autoimmunity is associated with the pathology of the immune system, causing it to react against normal tissue antigens.
The nervous system is related to one of the most sensitive to exposure to EMF systems in the human body. Nerve impulses pass through human cells constantly. They help the brain to regulate the human body and to carry out its adjustment and adaptation to a continuously changing environment. Extra interference naturally hampers it. In case the impact continues for a long time, the nervous system and the whole body accumulates many disorders that can lead to more serious problems. EMR creates a malfunction in bioenergetic system of a person, destroys the delicate part of men - men’s genitals. It was observed that even weak, barely perceptible natural radiation and its change has a significant impact on people’s well-being. People are losing their ability to adapt to the aggressive environment. Higher nervous activity and people’s memories change, they are likely to develop stress reactions. Also, brain and spinal cord are sensitive to changes in pressure, and, therefore, an increase in temperature as a result of irradiation of the head can have serious consequences. Head irradiation causes drowsiness, followed by the transition to unconsciousness. At the long-term exposure, cramps appear and then change into paralysis.
Sense of vision suffers as well. The problem is in small screen size. Human eye is arranged in such a way that it is extremely difficult to focus eyes on small size objects. It is sufficient to use a cellphone for two hours a day to experience a loss of vision as a result of eye strain. There is also a link between cellphone radiation and two different types of eye injury. One of them is incurable. When an eye is subjected to prolonged microwave radiation, there is a deterioration of the optical quality of the ocular. However, when the radiation exposure is stopped, the damage begins to improve. At the same time, at the microscopic level, more damage occurs: small “bubbles” appear on the ocular surface. This damage does not disappear even after the cessation of exposure to radiation.
Cellphones can lead to infertility in women; men can become impotent in case they carry their phones in pants or jeans pockets. Men’s genitals are very sensitive to heat and, therefore, are particularly vulnerable during irradiation; as a result, temporary or permanent infertility may occur. Geneticists believe that small doses of radiation do not result in any physiological disorders, but, at the same time, may cause mutations in the genes, which remain hidden for several generations.
Next, cellphones interrupt sleep phase. Doctors believe that cellphone radiation keep people away from having a good night’s rest. According to them, even broken cellphone, which lies next to a bed, interferes the normal process of alternation of rapid and slow-wave sleep phases. It is not single violation of the psyche being a result of cellphone use. Beginning from the half-joking statements that “a person with a smaller feature set of cellphone has an inferiority complex” and ending with outright dependence and other deviations associated with a cellphone. For some people, a cellphone has replaced a wife (husband), children, work and everything else. Here, there is also suffering from depression and mania, and pressure surges. Also, there is an addiction on virtual communication, especially with respect to the mobile Internet. A man who communicates all the time in the network is just unable to cross the line that separates the virtual and real life, he/she ceases to understand the rules by which the real world lives, a person becomes a stranger. There is another type of dependency - information. The owner of a phone is constantly waiting for a call or SMS-message, pulls out a cellphone, checks whether he/she missed important information, reads e-mail and SMS-messages. As a result, a person cannot remember what information is important. A man who abruptly stops receiving notification of any kind becomes aggressive; a person feels lack of attention; thus, he/she feels a news vacuum.
Nowadays, many household items are the sources of electromagnetic radiation. However, if during watching TV, people are still at a certain distance from it, then during the cellphone communication the whole head is irradiated. It should be noted that there is no such device among the technical means, which could be compared with a mobile phone on human exposure radiation. Radio frequency waves, which are generated by the tube, are absorbed by head tissues, namely, the brain tissues, structures of visual, auditory and vestibular analyzers. All this makes a mobile phone an especially dangerous “household” object. One should remember that a cellphone is just a means of communication, which has become an integral part of modern life; it is fraught with dangers that can be avoided and overcome by every sane person.
