Ganesh Chaturthi, commonly known as Vinayaka Chaturthi, is a prestigious festival of Hindus, celebrated all over the country every year on Shukla Chaturthi of Hindu Month of Bhadra with great enthusiasm in honour of Lord Ganesha. During these ten days of celebrations, people gather to worship Lord Ganesha, who symbolises intelligence, wisdom and good luck. Throughout this festive period, large public pandals are set up with massive idols of Lord Ganesha, and people visit these places to offer their prayers and seek blessings. At the same time, others install Lord Ganesha idol at their homes for worship.

During these ten days, people wear new clothes, pray to Lord Ganesha, exchange their warm wishes and gifts with their friends, relatives, neighbours and others who are dear to them.

But due to pandemic, there has been a restriction by the Government for not conducting large gatherings or installing huge pandals. However, the sweetness of the festival shall remain intact by offering poojas at home and buying Ganesh murti for gift according to your taste ...
