Top 3 Reasons To Start Exercising Today

Many of us have taken a sedentary lifestyle as of late, especially amidst the current global pandemic which has taken us all by storm.

However, we must remember to look after ourselves, and one of the best ways to do that is through exercise.

By engaging in exercise, we:

1. Improve our cardiovascular fitness, which improves our heart health and reduces the risk of diseases such as heart disease and diabetes.

2. Our stamina improves greatly which helps us get through more in the day and enables us to have hobbies such as hiking, or perhaps even training for a marathon or half-marathon?

3. It improves our mental health. If you're anything like me and you suffer from mental health problems such as anxiety, then exercising regularly will help reduce these symptoms.

For example, just take a look at the mental health benefits of running.

How can you start today?

It doesn't take much to begin exercising, depending on your current fitness level you may want to start slow.

For example, ...
... if you haven't exercised in a very long time you may want to consider walking, to begin with, usually after dinner is a great time to help with metabolism and weight loss.

As you start getting better, you can invest in beginners running shoes and start jogging slowly, slowly working up your miles each week by a comfortable amount you can deal with.

However, remember to continuously up your game, as you want to crush goals and get even stronger, to bring yourself up to a great fitness level.
