The Balancing Act
The concepts of change, evolution, and up-gradation are not just limited to living beings. Organizations, whether they be commercial, governmental or other, need to upgrade themselves with changing times to stay relevant. For educational institutes, the new decade has already started on a note that speaks, or rather screams, ‘change’. The sudden push towards imparting education by utilizing digital mediums has opened up opportunities. At the same time, it has also exposed how unprepared we are. Financial, social, and geographical conditions of students, might be deterring them to go and earn their degrees. Through the digital medium, these limitations can be overcome, if one desires to. Investing in some basic infrastructure facilities in a remote town or village can go a long way in increasing the goodwill of an Institute and the literacy rate of our country.

For most institutes, the transition has already started. What remains to be seen is how they leverage the opportunity and manage to outperform themselves. The new academic session has already begun and new guidelines are all set to be followed.
