5 Symptoms Of A Faulty Fuel Injector You Should Know!

Almost all vehicles after 1990s, are equipped with electronic fuel injection systems and replacing the age-old carburetor. Now considering the Holden fuel injectors to be one of the most advanced injection systems, like any other automobile parts they also run astray with constant usage and low maintenance.



So, how will you figure out that you have been suffering from symptoms of bad fuel injector? This guide will help you with that!



Engine Stalling



This is the most common symptom. As your vehicle is not getting enough supply of fuel the RPM often drops below the optimum level and, it results in your engine stalling. You might need to restart your engine quite a few times before it kick starts.



Excessive Vibration in the Engine



This is also a classic symptom of faulty fuel injector. As uneven supply of gas to the corresponding cylinder causes the inability to fire up the engine, ...

Engine Misfiring



This is by far the most dangerous symptoms of a faulty Holden fuel injectors. Once insufficient amount of fuel is spread into the engine, it often gets clogged under it and results in misfiring once you start to drive. Under the circumstances your automobile struggles to accelerate or decelerate once you step on or step out of the gas pedal. Get it fixed or replaced instantly or you might result in overheating the engine leading to catastrophic consequences!



Fuel Leakage



Fuel leakage can be caused from a faulty or broken exhaust manifold. But, it can also be a result of a broken or damaged full injectors from where the gasoline is leaking. Upon noticing such symptoms, take your car to a reliable mechanic for replacing the nozzle for the injector will deteriorate over time wreaking havoc on your vehicle!



Pungent Fuel Odor



It is often confused from a deteriorating exhaust system but sometimes, cracked Holden full injectors can also cause the fuel to be half burnt resulting in a strong pungent odor. As this symptom is virtually impossible for you to figure it out hence, it is recommended that you drop by a mechanic workshop to get it fixed!
