Many of those who experienced difficultiesin the past in finding the best English Russian translation agency did not know how to find the right one among hundreds of good agencies. Actually you could apply to any agency to which your finger points or which title your eye catches the title in the search engine. But there are some nuances of which you should know before going ahead with ordering for English Russian translation services.

If the scope of your work does not exceed one single or small document then one freelance Russian translator would suffice. But if it is the matter of a multipage document (over 50 pages) or large operations and maintenance manual, or an instruction or guide book for operation of a facility or critical equipment, then one translator would not be enough. You will need at least two or three translators or a team of translators. Besides, you will need somebody to manage those translations as there should be a manager or linguist who would be able to compile the separately translated segments into one document and proofread it and align them into one text making sure the entire text is translated ...
... in a similar way using the same glossary and terms.

Another thing that you should be concerned about is not a price but the ability of your English Russian translation contractor to cope with your project both in time and according to your project requirements. For instance, your documents could be in InDesign or in AutoCAD formats. Also, another format that allows to transmit a large multipage document is PDF. The above formats require the knowledge for using it and the continuous upgrade of the software version to keep up with the updates. It means that the translator or a company that provides English Russian translation for your needs should be able to handle those formats and translate your documents in them.

And, of course, the English Russian translation experts should be qualified for and experienced in translation in your particular niche. Normally, the translator should have at least 5 years of experience in a specific field to deliver the high-quality and professional English Russian translation services.

Another disputable thing is the use of the so called CAT tools. It is acceptable as long as it is used as an auxiliary tool to help the translator to compile the segmented or segregated pieces of the whole translation and align the text throughout the document by putting the same terms across the document. Or it can also be helpful in making the text translated by an automatic insertion of the similar words or phrases or even sentences instead of the original text. It helps a lot and facilitates the translation process. However, it should be noted that this tool should replace the human work. Otherwise, there could be serious errors.

Have a nice business day!
