Pair Them to Another Device

To connect the Buds Live to your computer, tablet, or another phone, you will have to put both earbuds in your ears, and long-press on both to hear a radar-like sound. This sound suggests that the Buds are in pairing mode. Once you hear the sound, follow the standard pairing process on the device you are connecting your Buds Live.

Get to Know the Touch Controls

Each of the earbuds responds to touch controls through taps or long-press. According to the animations presented in the Wearable app, the touch area is positioned on the top half of either earbud. You can refer to this list to understand the touch controls. However, you will easily learn the functions by experimenting yourself.

Single Tap: Play/pause.
Double Tap: Play the next track and answer/end a call.
Triple Tap: Play the previous track.
Long Press:  Enable/disable noise cancellation.

How to Turn on Active Noise Canceling

There two possible different ways to turn on active noise canceling (ANC) to minimize or completely cut down the background noise. As mentioned earlier, you can turn on/off the ANC by long-pressing on either earbud.

However, if you have changed the long-press functionality (details in the next point), you have to simply open the Wearable app on your phone. Once on, you will see a slider switch for Active noise canceling, turn this switch on/off according to your requirement.

Have Notifications Read to You

If you enable the Read notifications aloud feature in the Wearable app, your Galaxy Buds will read all your emails and messages in your ears. Simply, slide the switch to On position and follow the prompts to allow access to the apps you want to hear the notifications from.

Note that this particular feature only works for Android users.

Check Out Samsung Labs

If you have paired the Galaxy Buds Live with a Samsung device, you have a benefit to experimental with a few more features available in the Labs section of the Wearable app. For instance, you will see a dedicated Gaming Mode feature on pairing the Buds with a Samsung device.

Find Lost Earbuds With SmartThings Find

Once you connect your Buds Live to a Samsung phone, you will be prompted to turn on SmartThings Find. This new feature is added to help you track down an earbud, in case you misplace one. To enable this feature, make sure to tap Get Started when prompted and follow the further instructions.
