Signage is a vital part of any event, and whether it is small or large, well laid out, great looking, the signage needs to be there to boost sales. It's there to catch the attention of people, and keep them interested in what is currently happening.
A good sign is all about presenting a situation, or making a point to someone who's currently listening. When the situation is presented then more will stand out in the mind of the prospective customer and hopefully get them to come and see what you need to offer.
The message should not only be relayed to people who attend the event, but also to the folks in the event, and those who watch it after the event has finished. Signage is the first part of this communication, and should be thought of from every angle.
Everything ought to be set out, be it form any documents or the order form. The signage does not need to be huge in size but it will need to be clear and visible and easy to understand. In a packed venue like a fair, where people may well be running where they're supposed to be standing, to find the area, it won't be evident.
Another part of this is ...
... that the ability to continue to communicate with clients even if they've left the event. They'll be more likely to go back for future events For those who have a system where customers can register to receive email updates on your new products.
Signage is a way to keep the customers informed of what is going on. If they can read what is going on, then they can make up their minds and possibly buy. If the signage remains effective once it's passed, you will have made it easy for folks to remember it easily.
Very good indicators and messages help to teach. With what they know they are able to take a stand, although some people may continue to be clueless about the recent problems. This helps to encourage them give back to the community, and to make a difference in some way, to help with that area's development.
Signage doesn't always have to be expensive. You can keep it simple with a sign, but you can have some signs to entice customers if you can afford it.
