2. Secondly, the contractor would segregate and separate out the area from the public usage area, as this area needs to be demarcated so that the pedestrian won't come near it and disturb the repair process.
3. Then the old sidewalk surface should be broken down (if needed) and the sidewalk must be cleansed and all the dirt should be removed. This provides the contractor with the clean sidewalk to work with.
4. Then the sidewalk is handled with tools such as a hammer and saws, to make place for the new concrete settlement.
5. Then the new concrete is mixed and applied to the concerned site. This should be done extra carefully by the contractor, as he should intend to repair it on a permanent basis.
6. Then the concrete must be allowed to cured, the contractor should guide the sidewalk owner to not interfere in the curing process and protect it from external factors as it will destroy the curing process.
