Russia – Bolstering itself as an Education Hub

The Russian Federation, or Russia, is home to nearly 150 million citizens and boasts of a literacy rate of nearly 99%. Compared to other Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) countries, Russia has one of the smallest class-sizes and shortest instruction-hours per year. General Education System comprises of pre-school education, primary general, basic general, and secondary general education.

The Professional education system covers vocational education, non-university level higher education, university-level higher education, and postgraduate education including doctoral study programs.

In short, the country offers several opportunities for students to study and pursue their interests.
