This ISO 21001 Standard applies to management systems used by educational institutions, which has meaning of what an organization does to manage its processes or activities so that its products or services meet the objectives of the organization. These include ‘student needs’ for ‘satisfaction’ and ‘meeting teaching objectives’ as well as ‘rating needs from other stakeholders’ and ‘compliance standards. In very different terms, ISO 21001 concerns how the organization performs its functions, provides the same management tool for organizations that provide educational products and services that can meet students and other customer needs.
In other words, it seems to take a general approach to educational institutions, treat them equally and govern them with the same good practices. The Advantages listed in the note are:
