Lifestyle is the interests, opinions, behaviors, and behavioral orientations of an individual, group, or culture.
A lifestyle typically reflects an individual’s attitude towards the way he sees life and his values. It includes a variety of elements and habits: what we eat, what we drink, our level of exercise, how well we sleep, how well we manage stress and adapt to stressful situations, moreover, our behavior and how we interact with people, not forgetting our sense of belonging and purpose in life. It is also affected by how we think and how we see life in general; by our attitude and the choices we make when confronted with the vicissitudes of life.

The current scenario—Coronavirus or as we say COVID- 19, has brought the world to its knees. Businesses have been shut, schools and colleges are closed, travel banned. The whole world is in a complete lockdown. But as they say challenges create opportunities. Covid-19 may have turned our lives upside down but it has certainly provided an opportunity for all of us to rise to the occasion during these testing times. This pandemic has greatly impacted our ...
... lifestyle. People all around the world are working to make themselves better with each passing day, they are making the most of their time. The culture has seeped into our living rooms with people especially women, juggling between cooking, parenting and working at the same time! People have started taking personal hygiene and fitness more seriously. The ritual of washing hands, sanitizing things before use, that started as a compulsion is becoming a habit.
This is how our lifestyles are greatly changing —from waking up in the morning for going to work to waking up in the morning and doing the household chores. Life is no longer the same.
Small lifestyle changes have big health benefits– Here’s a look at lifestyle changes you may want to try now:-
1. Exercise at least for 30 minutes a day: Exercises like Skipping, Jogging, Running and Walking can do wonders to our lifestyle. Regular physical activity can improve your muscle strength and boost your endurance. Exercise delivers oxygen and nutrients to your tissues and helps your cardiovascular system work more efficiently. And when your heart and lung health improve, you have more energy to tackle daily chores.
2. Meditate: People use this practice to develop beneficial habits and feelings, such as a positive mood and outlook, self-discipline, healthy sleep patterns and even increased pain tolerance. In these hard times, where people are losing their jobs and have nowhere to go, Meditation is the problem-solver
3. Drink adequate water : Drinking water has plenty of health benefits – it can help increase your energy levels, ease a headache, relieve constipation, and aid weight loss, to name a few. So ensure that you drink a big glass of water when you get up in the morning and consume at least 5 glasses in a day. Including a drink rich in Vitamin Groups A, B, C, Natural Antioxidants & Potassium like the Doganay Black carrot Juice will not only keep you hydrated but also give your immunity that extra boost.

4. Eat Vegetables and Fruits: In today’s era, your immune system is the Key to Survival. Thus, in order to build your immunity and get healthy, adequate intake of fruits and vegetables is a must! Fruit and vegetables are a good source of vitamins and minerals, including folate, vitamin C and potassium.
5. Cut down on Smoking: Your lungs can be very badly affected by smoking. Smoking can cause fatal diseases such as pneumonia, emphysema and lung cancer.
6. Read Books: The practice of reading books creates cognitive engagement that improves lots of things, including vocabulary, thinking skills, and concentration. It also can affect empathy, social perception, and emotional intelligence. It is a great way to pass time.
7. Sleep for at least 7 hours a day: When you don’t get the recommended 7–9 hours per night, it can have a significant impact on your physical and mental health. Sleep is involved in healing and repair of your heart and blood vessels. Ongoing sleep deficiency is linked to an increased risk of heart disease, kidney disease, high blood pressure, diabetes, and stroke.

It can take time to develop new habits. Be patient with yourself and remember that making healthy lifestyle changes is a long-term commitment to support your health and quality of life.
