Pallet racking is the most commonly used simple and economical option for storage systems. Pallet racking serves as the best storage option for a wide range of products, especially associated with warehousing. In pallet racking you can store multiple varieties of goods in lesser quantities. Sometimes however it is possible to store them in larger unified quantities. Some of the accessories required for pallet racking are as follows:

Selective Pallet racking: It is one of the most common used pallet racking systems which play a huge role in today’s industrial requirements. Selective pallet racking can be further categorised under the following:

Roll Format: It is made in a “tear drop” style; pallets are mostly raised on horizontally structured load beams which are held by means of mounting clips. As the clips are placed in tear drop configuration it can be easily moved and adjusted to different heights as per your requirements to sustain different types of load.
Structural Pallet Format: It is almost the same as the roll format yet the only difference is that the load beams for structural pallet systems remain attached upright with bolts, instead of horizontal fixing. It has more load-bearing capacity when compared with the rolled pallet racking style. As the beams are fixed with bolts, you can adjust the shelves as per requirements of the goods which need to be stored.

Other pallet rack systems are as follows:

Drive In & Drive Through Pallet Rack: LIFO (last in first out)storage method is done in drive-in pallet racking system, where as FIFO (first in first out) storage method is done in drive through pallet racking system.
Pallet Flow: In this system depth is increased in order to boost the capacity of storage.
Push Back Pallet Rack: This system is made in a way such that the depth of the facility can be utilised to the fullest extent. Here the width is not utilised as much as the depth of the facility.
Mobilized Pallet Rack: This design helps in maximisation of warehouse storage functionality.
