Backup Utility Unsuccessful When Backing Up Large System Volume

NTBackup.exe is commonly used Microsoft's backup utility program, which is used to create backup .bkf files for the backed up data. Files and folders backups are necessary to avoid data loss, which may take place due to corruptions, damage, accidental deletion, virus attacks, etc.
But sometimes backup utility fails to produce successful results and this usually happens when you backup large system volumes. Due to this there is unsuccessful back up process; it might just get aborted in the midst of backing process. This behavior may occur even if you run the program locally on the server. Additionally, you may experience one or more of the various symptoms. You might get the following error messages appearing in the application log:
ERROR 1450: Insufficient system resources exist to complete the requested service.
ERROR 1450: / hex 0x5aa ERROR_NO_SYSTEM_RESOURCES
Operating system error 1450 Insufficient system resources exist to complete the requested service.
Write on "device" failed, status = 1450
Or something like,
ERROR 1130: Not enough server storage is available to process ...
... this command.
ERROR 1130 / hex 0x46a ERROR_NOT_ENOUGH_SERVER_MEMORY
Backup or restore operation terminating abnormally.
Other symptoms generally arise like,
Event ID 2020 and Event ID 2021 messages may be generated by the Server service.
If you view the Performance tab in Windows Task Manager, you notice that non-paged kernel memory is very low.
Causes behind this issue
You get these error messages only when you back up large system volumes. In fact there are two most probable causes behind this unsuccessful backing process. They are:
More files are open than the memory cache manager can handle. As a result, the cache manager has exhausted the available paged pool memory.
The backup program has tried to back up a file whose size is larger than the backup API can access on that version of the operating system. This has the same result (that is, the paged pool is exhausted).
Resolution
One possible resolution is to restrict the backup so that it backs up one file at a time. You can also try this resolution if you are backing up several large files, but each file is smaller than 180 GB.
Backup .BKF files prove to be an elixir in times of data crisis. We can simply rest on them during data loss. But what would you do when bkf file itself gets corrupt? You have nothing in hand to get back your data, files and folders. Well there is one advanced MS Backup recovery tool that is very much helpful in retrieving data out of corrupt BKF file. MS Backup recovery tool repairs corrupt or damaged BKF files and folders in no matter of time.
