Are you noticing mold formation on the walls and the ceilings out of the blue? Why do you think this is happening? When you have a defective sewer line, molds start to form and they start appearing in different parts of the house. Get the sewer line checked ASAP.

Our sewers and drains are abused quite a lot. You like it or not, they are constantly exposed to dust, dirt and pollution. And if there are a heavy thunder or a torrential downpour the sewers get badly affected. – Juts think of the things the sewer is exposed to on a daily basis. Right from human waste to tree root invasion and storm water runoff, the sewer is exposed to things that we cannot even imagine. It is important that you take stock of the sewer at frequent intervals. The longer sewer damage goes unnoticed; the worse will be its condition. The question is – how will you know that the sewer is damaged and you need to fix it? Following are some telltale signs that will help you be sure of sewer damage.

• Sewer backups refer to the blockage caused in the sewer line due to the clogging of water. For example: if all the lines are getting blocked, ...
... it means that there is something wrong with the sewer system but if one of the lines is getting choked and the rest of the sewers are fine that means that particular drain has some issue and needs to be looked into.

• Does your sewer smell? Well the sewer will smell because so many wastes go through it. But we are not talking about the regular smell; we are talking about that pungent, strong smell that refuses to die down. And with the passage of time, this smell becomes strong. If you are exposed to it for a long duration, you will start feeling sick. This means that your sewer is damaged and needs to be fixed at the earliest.

• Are you noticing mold formation on the walls and the ceilings out of the blue? Why do you think this is happening? When you have a defective sewer line, molds start to form and they start appearing in different parts of the house. Get the sewer line checked ASAP.

• If you suddenly find rats and bugs and cockroaches in your house, it means they are coming through the sewer line. You should get it fixed without any delay. Once there is rodent infestation in the house, it becomes difficult to get rid of them.

• Uneven grass growth in the drains is another prominent sign. A well-maintained drain will never have grass growing out of it. This happens only when something is wrong. Sewage has concentrated fertilizer so the moment you notice patches of green it means that there is a leak and hence this growth of grass.

• If you find waste pool in your garden you can be rest assured that there is a leakage in the sewer line. Thankfully, it is not difficult to find the location of the leak because in most of the cases, the waste pool appears just above the leak.
