In some states in the USA, people are allowed to appear for the exam with 120 hours course credit, but they need to complete the quota after the exam is done.
In India, the CPA eligibility is a little different. For someone to be eligible to appear for the CPA exams in India, they should hold an undergraduate degree. Further, having degree like MBA, M.Com, or qualification in CS (Company Secretary) or certified members of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India or Members of Institute of Cost and Works Accountants of India will help contribute to the education credits. If you are a Chartered Accountant with a degree of Bachelors of Commerce, that too is acceptable in some cases.
