If you are aspiring to migrate to Canada, you need to show your work experience and prove the same with the help of work experience reporting. Before heading towards the journey of writing the experience statement, make sure to understand all the requirements and guidelines for writing work experience statements.

Note 1: Experience reporting is for registered members in training and applicants of members in the training process. However, the applications should have been sent notifications about the confirmatory exams and are given with the option of submitting the experiencing statement for waiving confirmatory exams.

Note 2: If you have an up to date NCEES record and you are practicing the profession of engineering professionally in the USA, the NCEES record would suffice your experience reporting. Hence, there would be no need of submitting the experience report if you have the NCEES record.

Options for submission:

The options for paper based system are as follows:
● Applicable for geoscientists-in-training and engineer-in-training, which means they should have at least 1 report submitted before January 2019
● Mail: submit the hardcopy of the report by mail by keeping a backup of the same in case if the copy did not reach us
● Scan and email to experience-review@apegs.ca : The scan should be of good quality and the size should not be of 5mb here [the high quality is required as the document is scanned multiple times before reaching the reviewer and by the in it reaches a reviewer, the quality degrades fiercely. Hence, please ensure a proper scan of the paper].
Online system
● For the online CBA system, the report should be submitted by the Engineers-in-training only
