Google recently introduced the BERT update to its Search ranking system last week. As Google said it impacts 1 in 10 queries.

So, I’m #DigitalGilbert of Zuan Education will explain you about the impact of new Bert algorithm update and how it brought a significant change in better understanding what’s important in natural language queries. Also the latest news of how it impacts SEO (Search Engine Optimization)

Hi, Today we are going to see a small information about BERT algorithm. I’m going to give you the 5 simple ways that how Google’s bert algorithm works and for that what we need to do?

Want to Know about Bert Algorithm?
Google launched its new Bert Algorithm update on October 25th. Further knowing about Bert algorithm, you must also known about RankBrain algorithm. However you would be familiar with google’s Rankbrain algorithm, so I don’t want to discuss about it deeper.

We all know that Rankbrain Algorithm typically provides results based on Artificial Intelligence which means understanding the user’s queries and providing them information. From which we come to see about ...
... the FAQ( Frequently asked Questions) answers.

So, when we look into the relationship between RankBrain and Bert Algorithm. You can define both RankBrain and Bert Algorithm are similar but they are actually not!!!

When it comes to Bert algorithm, it aims to provide “super-specific contents” to their users query. This is what we are going to discuss in this Blog. Like how it works and how it provides super-specific contents. “BERT” summarized as Bidirectional Encoder Representations from Transformers.

So to know about Bert’s inner work and processing. They talk about NLP, which means” Natural Language Processing”. To make it clear, NLP is identifying the Language of the users query completely and thus providing them an exact content that matches their query. So to provide it exactly, we need to understand the users query exactly.

At this time, you can arise a doubt stating after rankbrain, all my contents are being user-friendly and also in an attractive manner only. But to take your content to the next level, there comes Bert algorithm. That means , you need to better understand your user’s queries.

‘Conjunction words’ is connecting or linking words which is also called as bridge word. Conjunction words means, “to”, “with”, “in” …etc. Most of our users search their queries using these ‘connecting words’.

And most probably we can see like this kind of queries in “long tail keywords“…And not in “small tail keywords”.

So here, better understanding of our users long tail keywords is important.

For example: There is a keyword Research happens like “Maths Study Books for Adults”. So from this search, what we have understood is being more important. When we segregate Maths study Books on one side and for adults on the other side. Here we can understand that the intention of the user is that they need maths Study books relating to an ‘adult category’.

So, before the Bert Algorithm update, the results will be displayed just as “A to Z” grade Maths Books. Once after the update of Bert algorithm, the results for the query are displayed in such a manner like the maths study books relating to adults age,so that they can read. This what is called Better understanding of user’s queries.

So, how we can understand these queries means, only through the connecting words.

Where analyzing of long tail keywords plays a significant role. Here you arise with a doubt stating that “ Do I want to make any changes in SEO”. This is because in every Algorithm updation. there would be some changes related to SEO. But here, you don’t want to make any changes in SEO.

Instead of that, what you can do is to write human based content.

This means, your written content is what results in the user’s search query ranking page. Result means Information, navigation, transaction to your business depending on your users query.

To make transaction to happen in your business, you need to research on your users search queries and optimize your content accordingly. If so you optimize your content properly, there won’t be any impacts for your websites, SEO etc.

And your business will flourish as same as now. This is what Bert Algorithm explains and

further goes on… I will update more information about it and google is too working on it.
