1. Warm-up Twisting

• Put the palms on either side of the foot
• Pull the right side of the foot forward gently while pushing the left side back
• Now push the left side of foot back while pulling the right side forward
• Continue repeating this motion, working the hands from the ankle to the toes

2. Arch Rubbing
The arch rubs technique is used to massage the underside of the foot:
• Hold the foot top in one hand.
• Rub the length of the arch with the fingers of the other hand.
• Repeat this motion, from the heel to the ball of the foot.

3. Toe Bending
This technique increases flexibility in the foot:
• Hold the heel with one hand.
• Bend all the toes on one foot front and back at the same time with the other hand.
• Continue this movement by increasing the pressure and flexing the toes completely to their full range of motion.

4. Foot spread
This method is helpful for foot expand to its natural width:
• Hold every side of the foot.
• Pull every side of the foot outward.
• Continue repeating this motion to allow foot spreading.

5. Heel squeeze
Heel squeezes may help relieve tension at the back of the foot. To use this technique:
• hold the top of the foot in one hand
• hold the back of the heel in the other
• repeatedly squeeze and release the back of the heel

6. Knuckle or fist work
This is a method way to massage the bottom of the foot:
• Hold the foot back with one hand
• Now hold a knuckle on the other hand against foot bottom
• Use the knuckle to knead the bottom of the foot moderately
• Continue repeating this motion while working down the ball of the foot to the heel

7. Thumb work
Another massage technique that can be easily practiced at the bottom of your foot:
• Grip the foot with one hand on either side.
• Now place the fingers on foot top.
• Put thumbs on the toe pads under each foot.
• Now use thumbs to stroke down each toe.
• Move towards the ball of the foot, repeating the downward stroke motion with the thumbs.
• Repeat this motion in the arch of the feet and the heel.
• Continue for as long as it is enjoyable.
