Suspended Scaffolding

This is generally used by washers or window painters, and may be suspended with the help of pulleys, weights and strong ropes. It operates on the principles of an elevated area or balanced platform which can be accurately lowered and hoisted, based on the space it is used in.

Cantilever Scaffolding

Birdcage Scaffolding

This one comprises of rows of poles that are spaced at equal intervals, and are hoisted in parallel lines – giving them a birdcage-like appearance. After this, thick sized planks of wood are lined over the poles of the equipment and secured in place with clamps. It is made specifically to be used at just one level.

Single Pole Scaffolding

It has just one row of poles, and depends on the structure against which the scaffolding is leaned for support. Remember that single pole rope suspended platforms are not recommended at all for tasks that include external structures which can be remove easily or are changed a lot.
