Gallstones are miniature sized stones that is produced in the gallbladder. The gallbladder is a pear-shaped sac located below the liver in the upper right area of the abdominal area. Gallstones are produced when lquid stored in the gallbladder becomes hardened and become pieces of stone like tissue.
